This month’s legislation amendments:
Changes have been made to Energy Efficiency (Building Renovation and Reporting) Regulations 2014 (Code: ECC14). The changes provide additional information regarding the following areas:
The acts to make changes to the Single Use Carrier Bags Charge (Wales) Regulations 2010 (Code: WM24). The key change to the regulations is changing specific exemption periods end date from 8 July 2020 to 31 December 2020.
Changes were made to the Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme Regulations 2018 (Code: ECC23).Within the regulations, amendments were made to extend to validity dates of the given tariffs.
The main environmental regulatory bodies for the UK (NRW, EA and SEPA) have individually released information on temporary changes made to waste regulations.NRW have released a regulatory decision that allows for relaxed enforcement on specific regulatory requirements such as consignee signatures on consignment notes and waste storage thresholds
The Environment Agency have released a regulatory decision that gives a series of guidance on relaxed enforcement of waste regulations.
SEPA have made changes on Duty of Care transfer notes, hazardous waste compliance, and Transfrontier Shipment of Waste paperwork.
