William is an IEMA fellow and Chartered Environmentalist. He pioneered and was an early adopter of many now-mandatory environmental standards, his visionary approach and inspiring leadership are exemplary. Will established Green Element in 2004, a successful environmental management consultancy, with a desire to help as many businesses as possible go ‘green’. In 2018, Will and Emma Littlewood created Compare Your Footprint in response to demand from companies that want to reduce their carbon footprint but were not ready to engage with experts. Will hosts the Sustainable Business podcast which is regularly ranked top of sustainability podcasts. He is also a current board member and Chairman of the British Kitesports Association; the NG.
Paul Coverdale is the founder of purpose AMPLIFIED, a consultancy that helps SMEs to understand how they can become better businesses. He recently launched The Pollinator Programme to make B Corp certification more accessible for micro-businesses and start-ups. Paul is a B Leader and part of the volunteer team at Business Declares.
Karli is a Partner in the Real Estate team at Bates Wells specialising in commercial property transactions. Karli advises organisations on how to embed ESG within their property strategy and how to acquire, manage and dispose of property assets in a sustainable way.
Serial social entrepreneur, Manchester-based Phil co-founded the Carbon Literacy Project in 2012 with Dave Coleman. He is now their Director of Advocacy and in that role, he meets leaders across many sectors to enable their use of his NGO’s unique framework for climate action training.
Emma is a Strategy Director at Green Element and Compare Your Footprint. She works across all parts of the business designing analytical models and tools to enable the calculation of sustainability performance indicators. Emma created Compare Your Footprint in 2018 and lead the development of what is now the highest-quality carbon calculation software on the market. She has 10 years of experience as a C++ applications developer, quantitative analyst, and risk manager, and experience in the environmental sector.
Fran’s forte is to help sustainability leaders focus on the things that matter most, especially when it comes to sustainability opportunities and risks. At C-suite and senior level, she asks the right questions, guides priority-setting, and helps turn ambition into reality.
Fran is Deputy Chair of the Scottish Environment Protection Agency, Chairs the Macaulay Development Trust, and served on Montanaro Asset Management’s Advisory Committee.
Adrian Clamp, Sustainability & Systems Director for J Coffey Construction, is driving the sustainability agenda throughout the business, with strategies associated with carbon reduction having committed to Pledge to Net Zero, Equality Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) along with the Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) agenda
