What is your business superpower?

I would say that our business superpower is that we get feedback from our clients that is both external and internal. We get enormous collaborations around the world hence we can be able to mobilize ourselves and collaborate with our clients across borders in all times zones.

How does Linklater engage with its staff suppliers and customers with your mission and purpose?

As a business, last year, we revised our business culture, values and purpose. We reached out to all our employees and clients. Some of our employees began a best green law firm chat group that was available to everyone globally. Through that platform we were able to get feedback from our clients on what they would want to see from us. That in turn really helped us improve our strategies and thus helped us deliver what was asked of us by our clients. It has also helped be in alignment with our purpose.

What has been your biggest struggle so far when it comes to running a sustainable business and how have you overcome it?

For me the biggest struggle has been knowing what to focus on. That is very important since you would not want to confuse people that is your colleagues and fellow employees. We have to know our priorities since there is so much that we can do therefore we should be precise on where we are to direct our energy.
Knowing what message we are telling our clients and our employees is important for us in order to ensure that nobody feels like something is being taken away from them and that they are contributing to our being.

If you could offer one piece of advice to our listeners which could help them with their purpose what would that be?

I would advise them to listen to their people and clients. To also adhere to the advice that is coming from your key stakeholders. Do not be afraid to be the one that takes the leading role as you might be the one that actually leads the others into becoming something great.
