Piran is a Junior Environmental Management Consultant at Green Element. In his role, Piran implements Environmental Management Systems (EMS), calculates carbon footprints, and delivers energy efficiency projects aligned with the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) for clients from various industries.
Piran completed his undergraduate degree in Geography at the University of Exeter, focusing his dissertation on sustainable green spaces and the transformative potential of urban agriculture. During his second year of university, he undertook a project in the Green Consultants Programme that quantified and monitored various anthropogenic impacts on campus biodiversity. This supported the University in developing sustainable strategies for managing different areas on campus by cross-referencing human activity with habit types.
Piran wants to make a real and impactful difference for people and the environment. He was drawn to Green Element because of the team’s enthusiasm for sustainability and the diverse range of projects that our organisation offers.
