Get Hooked on Fishing (GHOF) is a charity that aims, as its title suggests, to get kids into fishing. Many of the children involved are from deprived backgrounds or have a disability. By getting kids into fishing, you can keep them busy, focused and enjoying themselves through a vulnerable age in their life. It also exposes them to the wonders of nature that the urbanised streets of London struggles to provide. The venue in Ealing has 6 well stocked purpose built lakes specifically designed for coaching and is the flagship site for GHOF. Although it is only a stone’s throw from central London, the venue is a nature lover’s paradise attracting not just anglers, but the general public too.
