Project 2: Appointed to undertake an environmental impact study to establish the beneficial impact on the environment of introducing a revolutionary new lubricant designed to reduce CO2 emissions in cars.

Objectives

  • To establish by modelling the projected increase in car usage and to consider increases in engine efficiency achieved with the new product to establish the potential reduction in CO2 emissions

  • It allowed BP to better understand elements of the car manufacturing market to establish ways in which it could develop products to benefit that industry and reduce the impact on the environme
